Dancing Storytime
This interactive workshop invites families to explore the intersection of books, movement, and language. Using the book Moving Resting Nesting / Dans la maison des oiseaux by Foolish Operations, families will engage in fun songs and movement games inspired by birds, trees, and nature. This workshop is designed to be accessible for all participants, including those who may require chairs for support.

Dancing The Parenting
Neruda Arts and Cosmic Fishing Theatre collaborate to present
She Discovers is a community dance workshop for caregivers and children (ages 0-5)
Based in creative dance and improvisation and integrating developmental, play and attachment theories, as well as artistic and performance-based approaches to early childhood education, this workshop, originally known as Dancing the Parenting, is a playful and creative exploration of movement, engaging parents/caregivers into their own dancing just as much as the children.
Tickets are free!
Dance experience is not required.

Dancing Babytime
Dancing Babytime is a very special community dance workshop that invites families with babies and tots (ages 0-2) to expand the notions of literacy and introduction to the French language by exploring the interplay of books and movement. In this workshop, families explore books, songs, and movement inspired by colourful yarn and pom-poms.
Dance experience is not required. The workshop is designed for adult participants who can move from the floor to standing. If using chairs could accommodate some of your adult participants, let us know, we will design the workshop space with this in mind. Adults are responsible for their child at all the time. All participants, adults and children alike, are asked to wear comfortable clothing, e.g. gym pants/yoga/leggings, and to dance barefoot to avoid slipping and falling.

Spend the evening with us on Saturday, April 19 at The Registry Theatre in Waterloo from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm to explore and experiment, to dance and celebrate, and send us off into new theatrical adventures and discoveries.
This special event is an open and relaxed format and very child-friendly. You will experience an exciting immersive projection installation and performance, alongside some visual arts, movement, and dancing. Together, we will make our own little party universe to celebrate the beginning of Spring, and lasting memories.
Expect: Glowsticks, Raffle Prizes, Performance Surprises, and Tasty Foods and Treats.
Serving: Good coffee, Tea, Juices and Non-alcoholic Beverages + Salty and Sweet treats.

Have a theatrical adventure with your kids who are wired for pure play. Together we will explore a series of extraordinary worlds, filled with unexpected discoveries!
There once was a story with three places, two characters and one thing. What happens in this story? No one knows - at least not until you, the audience arrives.
This is an immersive puppetry performance, where participants are guided through an adventure and choose what happens next!
